Our Story

Built by Someone Who'sBeen Through It

ClosureRx was born from real experience — not textbooks. Our founder navigated a multi-location medical corporation through Chapter 11 bankruptcy and lived every painful detail of practice closure firsthand.

Meet the Founder

Brad Palubicki

Founder & Managing Consultant

Former President/CFO, Multi-Location Medical Corporation

Brad Palubicki served as President and Chief Financial Officer of a multi-location medical corporation operating across several states. When the company entered Chapter 11 bankruptcy, Brad remained at the helm — managing day-to-day operations, coordinating with bankruptcy counsel and the court-appointed trustee, overseeing creditor negotiations, and executing the orderly wind-down of every location. He handled the full spectrum of closure operations firsthand: state-by-state regulatory filings, DEA controlled substance surrenders, Medicare and Medicaid withdrawal, insurance panel terminations, patient notification campaigns, medical records custodianship, staff severance and WARN Act compliance, and accounts receivable recovery that returned significant value to the estate. That experience — years spent inside the operational chaos of a real bankruptcy — is what ClosureRx is built on. Brad personally manages every client engagement. He is not a lawyer, and ClosureRx does not provide legal advice. What he provides is deep operational expertise: the specific, practical knowledge of how to shut down a medical practice correctly, compliantly, and with as little disruption to patients and staff as possible. Brad founded ClosureRx through NuStack Digital Ventures to give physicians, trustees, and receivers access to the kind of operational guidance that typically only exists inside organizations that have already been through it.

As President and CFO of a multi-location medical corporation, Brad was responsible for every aspect of the organization — operations, finance, compliance, and personnel. When the corporation entered Chapter 11 bankruptcy, he didn't step aside. He managed the day-to-day operations throughout the entire proceedings while simultaneously coordinating with bankruptcy counsel on legal strategy.

During that process, Brad navigated DEA controlled substance surrenders across multiple states, managed CMS Medicare withdrawal for multiple providers, coordinated staff transitions under WARN Act requirements, handled creditor communication and committee negotiations, maintained patient care continuity across all locations, and pursued AR recovery during active proceedings. He dealt with the DEA, CMS, state medical boards, the Department of Labor, the OIG, state pharmacy boards, and over a dozen other regulatory bodies — all simultaneously, under the pressure of an active bankruptcy case.

The experience exposed a gap in the market that no one was filling. Physicians facing practice closure had access to lawyers and accountants, but no one to manage the operational reality — the hundreds of tasks, deadlines, and regulatory filings that determine whether a closure goes smoothly or becomes a liability nightmare.

That's why Brad built ClosureRx. No physician should have to figure this out alone. The regulatory complexity of closing a medical practice is staggering — 13+ agencies, 50 different state regimes, and consequences that follow you for years if you get it wrong. Brad built this firm to be the operational partner he wished he'd had.

Brad's approach is simple: he personally manages every engagement. There is no handoff to a junior team, no account manager buffer. When you call ClosureRx, you get Brad. He is available by phone, answers questions directly, and stays with your closure from first conversation to final filing.

Brad is not an attorney. ClosureRx provides operational consulting, not legal advice. We work alongside your legal counsel when applicable and recommend engaging qualified attorneys for all legal matters related to your closure.

From the Same Experience

Brad's bankruptcy experience also led to the creation of CourtCase Search, an AI-powered court case research and PACER monitoring platform. Both products were born from the same lived experience of navigating the legal and operational complexity of medical practice bankruptcy.
